All About The Denim Dress

Hello Dolls!  So here we all officially in the season of Fall, but in most cases transitioning out of Summer can be frustrating because the weather is still pretty hot.  I decided to show you my favorite go to, a denim dress that works with this Indian weather.

In my book you just can’t go wrong with denim and I love it in the form of a dress.  Now this dress has been in my closet for many years and was a purchase from Nordstrom.  The reason why I still enjoy it is because it’s timeless.  It buttons down with a pocket on each side at the top with detailed stitching in a dark denim.  I added a brown belt to give some texture to the look and to cinch in the waist ( who doesn’t like a snatched waist). A little rolling of the sleeves and snake print booties a few seasons back from Zara completed this look.

The best part about denim dresses is they're versatile enough to switch up the look with simple accessories and a change of shoes.  While the weather's still warm a sandal works perfect and as the temperature starts to drop you can layer with a long cardigan.  You can rock some cute booties like I did,  go with a knee high boot in leather or suede or go super casual with a pair of high top sneakers.

I hope this look was helpful as you transition into fall.  Making simple changes will keep this look chic and true to your personal style.
